We are delighted to be able to present this year’s season, which thanks to our fantastic partners, will take a big step forward this year. We are sure of that!

The last few years together with Yamaha Europe, then mainly with Alexandre Kowalski on our side, has been an absolutely incredible chapter in our over 30-year history – in the Enduro EM and World Cup series. These years as Yamaha’s official junior team have really been amazing and I can’t thank everyone involved for all the support and wonderful memories together. Having been a part of Yamaha’s racing with Outsider’s Yamaha with everyone involved is something I will have with me all my life, says team manager Joakim Johansson.

Working with future GP-winners has been both fun, rewarding and a very big challenge, but now is the time to move on. With a good support from our passionate colleagues at Yamaha Motor Scandinavia, it is now time to add the next gear and try to take our first GP-title, says Joakim Johansson.

We are very happy and incredibly proud to be able to present Finnish triple and reigning world champion Eero Remes as a rider in the GP-class. We have not decided class yet, the tests of the various Yamaha models are on right now, continues Joakim Johansson.

By his side he will have Australian junior rider Wil Ruprecht who is a strong candidate in the junior-class. Wil was with us already at the last race in Germany in 2018, where he took a victory already the first day, continues Joakim Johansson.

EnduroGP is now in a really in a positive phase with both support classes, running at the same time as the extremely professional in the GP-classes.

Swedish Marcus Adielsson will together with Finnish Hugo Svärd, defend the team’s colors in the Youth Cup on enduro-adapted YZ125 motorcycles.

In junior class, British Alex Walton along with Estonian Priit Biene, will defend the team colors with the WR250F and WR450F models.

We have also opened for riders in the World Cup classes and Swedish veteran champion Patrik Andersson will be here for full sail in the senior class, concludes team manager Joakim Johansson who is very happy and positive for the season!

The countdown has begun, 22-24 March, the first competition for the year in Germany.

Vi är jätteglada över att kunna presentera årets säsong som tack vare våra fantastiska partners kommer att ta ett stort steg framåt redan i år. Det är vi säkra på.

De senaste åren ihop med Yamaha Europa, då främst med Alexandre Kowalski vid vår sida har varit ett helt otroligt kapitel i vår drygt 30-åriga historia, i Endurons EM- och VM-serier. Dessa år som Yamahas officiella junior-team har verkligen varit fantastiska och jag kan inte nog tacka alla inblandade för allt stöd och alla underbara minnen tillsammans. Att ha varit en del av Yamahas racing tillsammans med Outsiders Yamaha med alla inblandade är något jag kommer att ha med mig hela livet, säger teamchef Joakim Johansson.

Att arbeta med framtidens GP-vinnare har varit både kul, givande och en väldigt stor utmaning men nu är det dags att gå vidare. Med ett bra stöd från våra passionerade kollegor på Yamaha Motor Scandinavia är det nu tid för att lägga in nästa växel och försöka ta vår första GP-titel, berättar Joakim Johansson.

Vi är jätteglada och otroligt stolta över att kunna presentera finske trefaldige och regerande världsmästaren Eero Remes som förare i GP-klassen. Vi har inte bestämt klass ännu, testerna av de olika Yamaha-modellerna pågår just nu, fortsätter Joakim Johansson.

Vid sin sida kommer han att ha australienska junior-föraren Wil Ruprecht som är en stark kandidat i junior-klassen. Wil var med oss redan vid sista deltävlingen i Tyskland 2018, där han knep en seger redan första dagen, fortsätter Joakim Johansson.

EnduroGP är nu i ett verkligt positivt skede med både support-klasser, som kör samtidigt som de ytterst professionella i GP-klasserna. Samtidigt ser vi många yngre förare som vill framåt och siktar på att köra i någon av junior-klasserna.

Svenske Marcus Adielsson kommer att tillsammans med finske Hugo Svärd att försvara teamets färger i Youth Cup på enduro-anpassade YZ125 motorcyklar.

The Johansson Yamaha Official Junior Enduro Team are proud to announce the signing of Kyle Flanagan, with the young racer set to contest the remaining three rounds of the 2018 FIM Enduro Junior World Championship in Italy, France and Germany. Demonstrating his potential by winning the opening round of the 2018 FIM SuperEnduro World Championship in Poland, the South African is looking forward to a successful switch to outdoor enduro racing.

At just 22 years of age, Flanagan is one of the up-and-coming talents in international extreme and indoor enduro racing. A Yamaha rider for the past two seasons, the South African can’t wait to make his debut in the FIM Enduro World Championship aboard the Johansson Yamaha Official Junior Enduro Team’s WR250F machine.

Flanagan will act as a replacement rider for Sweden’s Erik Appelqvist, who suffered injury following a fall at the latest round of the Swedish Enduro Championship. Requiring a significant rehabilitation period, Erik is now working towards a full recovery before considering a return to competitive action. Yamaha Racing and the Johansson Yamaha Official Junior Enduro Team wish Erik a speedy and complete recovery.

Round six of the 2018 FIM Enduro World Championship takes place in Edolo, Italy on August 31, September 2.
